As stated in my previous article, I have been looking forward to this album since I first heard it was being released in February. It might’ve been earlier than that. I can’t remember things well when I fangirl.
I was a bit of a bad girl though, because I…*cough*gotaleakofit*cough*
So I listened through it, very very intently, and can now provide you with a review of Kevin Rudolf’s sophomore album, “To the Sky.”
(Which in my opinion is a terrible title for an album)
I own basically every book by Neil Gaiman. I don’t own any comic books or any of the picture books for younger children, but since my last purchase including The Graveyard Book and Odd and the Frost Giants, I have and have read every novel and collection. Including today’s review, American Gods.
American Gods is going to be read quite a lot next month, because starting May 5th, there will be one big book club on Twitter. A few days ago the voting for #1b1t, or One Book, One Twitter. Twitterers nominated and then voted on the book they wanted everyone on Twitter to be reading, and American Gods came out on top.
My apologies for not posting on the Twitter more like I should. I’ve been super busy as of late, between helping my parents move things around in our house and graduation junk and…ugh.
But I’m finally through with it,.
I was originally going to review BENNIE BECCA’s album, along with a smaller review of Rain’s mini-album. Then I was going to review BENNIE BECCA and MiChi’s latest single.
Now I’m going to review the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack, plus a brief review of the movie.
India isn’t quite the Asiatic country I gravitate towards with my music. Usually it’s Japan or Korea, occasionally toss in a Taiwanese group.
When I saw “Slumdog Millionaire,” I was blown away. I wasn’t entirely sure what the movie was going to be like or half of what it was even going to be about. I knew it was going to be about the Indian slums, but outside of that I was foggy on the plot.
And after listening to the music, I was even more blown away.
Today, because I haven’t downloaded any albums recently (damn being stuck on Windows), I’m taking a stab at reviewing an album I probably should’ve talked about almost two weeks ago.
Berryz Koubou’s 6th Otakebi.
