For years, I always thought XBOX, and PlayStation 2 were the elite systems of all the sixth generation consoles and that the GameCube, sucked. But, when I managed to get my hand on one; my attitude changed. Yup, that’s right; a new article titled : GameCube : Worst Console Ever? July 21st 2007 – Beware. Bookstores will be filled to the brim; to the point that they may collapse. Why? The final and long awaited final book in the Harry Potter series; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows arrives in shelves of bookstores and libraries everywhere! The big question everyone has is; Will Harry Die? And who might die with him? I really don’t know.. Why not discuss it on the forums (go join)! And this just in : Harry Potter book releases actually REDUCE teen accidents at one hospital (according to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford). They say on the weekends of Sat Jun, 21st and Saturday July, 16th : they recieved 36 teens with injuries sustained from accidents; compared to the usual weekend average of 67. And on another Harry Potter note : Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix came out today, and got many good reviews. I still have yet to see it.

iPod’s can draw lightning
Experts warn of lightning-strike injuries with iPods, similar devices during storms.

Listen to an iPod during a storm and you may get more than electrifying tunes.

A Canadian jogger suffered wishbone-shaped chest and neck burns, ruptured eardrums and a broken jaw when lightning traveled through his music player’s wires.

Last summer, a Colorado teen ended up with similar injuries when lightning struck nearby as he was listening to his iPod while mowing the lawn.

For years, I always thought XBOX, and PlayStation 2 were the elite systems of all the sixth generation consoles and that the GameCube, sucked. But, when I managed to get my hand on one; my attitude changed.

For years, Nintendo dominated the market : however when the XBOX and PS2 came out; with a few good games; people really forgot about Nintendo. Many people don’t know the pros of the GameCube; so they assume that it sucks.

Although, the graphics aren’t as great, as some of the games on the other systems, they aren’t bad. They’re quite good actually. While PS2, and XBOX are better for single player games, the GameCube is better for Mario lovers, people with families that love video games, and multiplayer action!

If HALO was on the GameCube, people might have been saying the GameCube is better than the XBOX. So, it’s more about the game; rather than the system. Some games have good graphics, some don’t. Fall in love with Nintendo again.

An 8,000-acre wildfire forced hundreds of people in the town of Winnemucca to leave their homes, one of more than a dozen blazes that charred a combined 55 square miles in northern Nevada.

The blaze was among a series that dotted the West on Saturday as a heat wave made parched terrain even drier, forcing authorities to evacuate homes and close highways and wilderness areas.

The original layout for the comeback in May, was taken apart, and remade. Also, a new mascot has taken the field : Envil, the evil dark square that mocks you. However, the cloud mascot has been transfered to the forums : where he/she/it will live a peaceful life. The tutorials have also been taken down; we don’t know when they will be back up again. :evilgrin:

Weird Al first got started back in 1979, writing a parody to the hit song by The Knack entitled “My Charona”, turning it into “My Bologna”. Instead of having a fancy beatmaker or something of the like, he had a friend using a wooden block to create a beat, and Weird Al played an accordian. His first live performance was on The Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder in 1981, performing a parody to Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust” (entitled “Another One Rides the Bus”), with the same instruments, wearing rainbow pants and no shoes.

Over the years, Weird Al’s become famous for his parodies, and his original songs (such as “The Night Santa Went Crazy”) as well. Some of his most famous parodies are “I Love Rocky Road” (“I Love Rock n’ Roll”, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts), “I’m Fat” (“I’m Bad”, Michael Jackson), Living With a Hernia (“Living in America”, James Brown), “Like a Surgeon”, (“Like a Virgin”, Madonna) and “Amish Paradise” (“Gangster’s Paradise”, Coolio), which landed him in court under the accusation of copyright infringement.

Weird Al’s most recent release is “Straight Outta Lynwood”, with parodies based on songs that came out in 2005 and 2006, as well as some original songs. The current single, “White and Nerdy”, is a parody of Chamillionare’s “Ridin”, video and all. Forthcoming sings include “Do I Creep You Out?” (“Do I Make You Proud?”, Taylor Hicks)* and “Don’t Download This Song” (an original song based on “We Are the World”, USA for Africa).
